Shogun 69

High-performance cruising yacht / In development

An exceptionally fast cruising yacht developed around owner operation and a small crew. The Shogun 69 brings the character of the Shogun range into a larger platform, combining full carbon construction, a retractable carbon keel and a versatile sail plan with spaces designed for extended cruising.

The design connects exterior form, cockpit ergonomics, interior planning and technical systems from the outset. Sailing controls are concentrated near the helms, leaving the forward cockpit lounge clear for life on board.

Form, performance and easy handling

The clean deck and semi-flush profile develop the visual identity of the Shogun range at a larger scale. Aft sailing stations bring powered winches and trim controls close to the helms, while the forward lounge stays clear of active sail handling.

A large primary self-tacking jib and runnerless cruising rig simplify manoeuvres. A retractable carbon keel broadens access to harbours and anchorages, with water ballast available to extend the performance envelope.

The challenge is to make the yacht’s performance accessible to an owner-operated crew, while resolving the deck, hull and systems as one coherent design.

Space for life at sea

The interior arrangement develops alongside the hull, keel and technical installations. Three main cabins are complemented by a flexible midship space, with a large forward owner’s cabin and two bathrooms.

A generous galley connects directly to the dining area. Storage, circulation and dedicated service compartments are considered together so that the yacht supports extended cruising as well as fast passages.

As a semi-custom platform, the layout, materials and equipment can be developed around each owner’s intended use. Preliminary arrangement; subject to development.
